The Ocean Hunter (Sega Model 3) Tutorial : 2 wiimotes + 2 dolphin bars
The seven seas spread throughout the world. It is said that there is a monster for each of these seven seas. Ships are being attacked one after another. Sharks gather around monsters seeking human flesh. The ocean is not only a place of blessing but a place of terror. Defeat the violent gigantic monsters of the seven seas. An enormous bounty has been set for their heads. Brave youth go out to face the monsters.
This video is (as always), a tutorial and by the way, a demonstration on how you can play 2 wiimotes simulteanously as lightgun for railshooter games.
With this game we can see the limit brought by the triggers quality of my gun
It was almost impossible to push back Leviathan when he attacked me.
This why i think wii zapper are not good enough to reproduce the closest feeling of the arcade experience.
requirements:
2 wiimotes
2 mayflash dolphin bars (mode 2) : wiimotes will be recognized as mices by windows. (search on google to buy them, i am not afiliate with anyone)
autohotkeys :(https://www.autohotkey.com/) (if you want to launch each railshooter game i setup)
my emulator archive :
https://mega.nz/file/p09XRapa#nJAmis5zkfnpEdMpoO7ZYBpf9O0HllkXWQ8WE9F4b_I
1) sync wiimote1
2) sync wiimote2
3) launch one of the game (click on one ahk script)
The important point here is you must use rawinput value in controller setup.
You can change the buttons as you prefer in Supermodel.ini if they are not suit you as you want.
WARNING:
Depending on each one setup, MOUSE ID can be different from my setting.
if you can't move one or both ingame crossairs, you will have to find the correct ID of each of you wiimotes.
You can try :
MOUSE_
MOUSE1_
MOUSE2_
MOUSE_3
etc.......
I can't guess it for you, so don't ask me which is the correct MOUSE'Number' for your own setup.
Bye! see you in the next video!
