The Ogress Boss S30 Pt1 Barok Plays Nioh
0The ogress can be a tough boss if you're not aware of how to dodge a few of her attacks. By and large dodging to your left dodges most of her swipe attacks, the problem however is dodging her jump is tricky until you learn the trick. Don't dodge away, instead dodge toward her. Now if you're spacing off, she'll just sit on you but if you're hugging her to begin with, you'll end up with a perfect spanking opportunity when she lands. Timing is important during this dodge but doubly so if you dodge backwards, because the hitbox seems to be bigger in front of her.
As for the second phase, it's more of the same but with some extra moves thrown in. She loves to throw down flowers that transform into yokai zones. This can work in your favor if you're using Usura-Hicho. If you have pure heaven, cursed earth, it's even better. As you can conceivably purify all of the zones if you're standing in the right area. As a bonus if you're using Usura-Hicho, for every purification, you get a 150 heal. Bonus is she's also weak to water so it's a natural guardian spirit counter to her. She's also weak to earth for those wondering.
