Darkeater Midir S5 Barok Plays Dark Souls 3 Ringed City DLC
0This fight is simple but rather long due to Midir's health and defenses. Summoning more people only exaggerates the problem not alleviate it. If you must summon, only summon 1 person is my advice.
As for the fight itself, it's not particularly difficult in regular ng. Simply sit in front of the angry dragon and roll backwards when it swings until a chance to hit it's head appears. The only real dangerous attacks are in phase 2 and can be completely avoided if you keep close in front of him.
His laser show of death happens when you're far away. It's very tricky to not get hit but not impossible. More a matter of where you are in relation to him. I've only seen it a handful of times since I always endeavor to stay close but it does massive damage.
Watch for the obvious grab which is preceded by a roar and roll backwards twice then hit the head. Notice a pattern? If he breathes fire and charges at you I've found the easiest way for me to dodge is under him as he goes over top you. Stay to YOUR left so the tail swipe doesn't hit you.
Seriously, that's about it. In ng+ he hits harder and has more health but nothing else changes. I don't think it'll one shot you until further cycles.
