The one Defender who doesn't need active skill to stall Patriot for more than 2 minutes (Arknights)
Before this, there is no way to indefinitely stall Patriot. Yes, this boss who is not only infamous for extremely high DEF and RES and almost invincible to all but Pure/True damage, but also attacks 4 times in a row with ridiculously high ATK in the first phase.
Back then Nian needed Aak's S2 buffs, and Shining's S3 in addition to her S2 to survive and stall... but only for up to 30 seconds. Aside from that, only operators with "HP cannot be reduced below 1" such as Specter, Blaze and Surtr could stop him, but only for a while.
This time, I show an operator who can definitely stop Patriot right in the dead tracks while taking the massive attacks and yet still survive. No manually activated skills, only passive buffs.
The trick here is that Mousse has a surprisingly potent Skill 1 that has a nearly perfect ATK debuff uptime (it can have complete 100% uptime by Ch'en - the Guard, yes, not the Holungday Sniper, and her talent that restores SP automatically to operators who otherwise requires landing regular attacks to charge SP), and at Mastery 3, it inflicts -40% ATK debuff. Yes, I know this is lower than Shamare's cursed doll, but no further inputs are really needed for Mousse to keep debuffing a very dangerous enemy (including boss) in terms of ATK, potentially shutting down their deadly threat.
I am surprised that nobody even dared to bring it out because they thought even Hoshiguma with her S2 can't reliably survive Patriot's chain attack. Here, however, she does. For more than 2 minutes straight, which I also included at the end of the video.
Today, the Unstoppable Force finally meets it's Immovable Object.
