The ONE thing Liverpool are missing!
Another week passes by excruciatingly in the January transfer window, abuzz with rumours and conjecture. Therefore, here’s another five transfers that nearly happened last summer that we’re going to make a reality.
Let’s start with the ailing Liverpool: they’ve lost a bit of something under Jurgen Klopp in what is now his eighth year with the club. Some say it is due to one too many players fleeing the roost: hence why we’ll keep Sadio Mane at the club this week. Some say it is due to too few players rejuvenating the squad: hence Jude Bellingham’s overdue transfer to Anfield becomes a reality.
Then, we’ll take a brief sojourn in Barcelona where we’ll bring Bernardo Silva with us. The Portuguese playmaker has been touted out of the Etihad and Manchester City in successive summers but has remained in the Premier League, ruling over English football with Pep Guardiola. Would he fare even better in La Liga?
And finally we’ll end our week in the only way possible: talking Cristiano Ronaldo. It was clear that once Erik ten Hag took charge at Old Trafford that the legendary Portuguese forward’s days at Old Trafford were numbered. Instead of an explosive exit to Saudi Arabia mid-season, we’ll allow him to leave with the dignity that summer would’ve brought: back home to Sporting but first to PSG.
