The Outer Worlds [PS4] #036, Byzantium: All Halcyon in a Day; At Central; The Low Crusade

Previously, the party continued exploring and questing in Byzantium. They explored the Maintenance Tunnels and rescued Giles Molina's lab sprats for the task quest "Cupid of the Laboratory". Then, they carried out Celeste Jolicoeur's task quest "Makes Space Suits, Won't Travel". It did not turn out well for her, but Davilas got a snazzy outfit. Now, the party will continue exploring and questing in Byzantium.
Byzantium:
The party resumes northwest of Prosperity Plaza in Byzantium. Across from the Halcyon Parcel Service, they enter the Bureau of Exploration.
Bureau of Exploration (time 1:18):
In the second room of the bureau, the party talks to Alonzo Vallejos. He offers the party a chance to try out a tour of Halcyon by locating the series of beacons. This starts the task quest "All Halcyon in a Day". The first objective is to find the first beacon. Alonzo gives the party the Tour Registration Device quest item to register the tour beacons. Sounds fun.
Upstairs in the Bureau of Exploration, the party checks an office and finds the Compass on a Chain quest item. They can find Lockwood's Office in the back of the floor. Within, they can find Lockwood's Papers, a quest item for a main quest along a branch that Davilas is not taking.
The party goes back downstairs and leaves the bureau.
Byzantium (time 8:21):
In the southeast of Prosperity Plaza, the party finds the first beacon in the grass in front of Rococo's Decor. The register it. This concludes the objective to find the first beacon for "All Halcyon in a Day". The next objective is to find the second beacon, which is in the Emerald Vale Region.
The party fast-travels to the Unreliable.
Unreliable (time 10:36):
Davilas uses the navigation terminal to fly the ship to the Edgewater Landing Pad on Terra 2. He fast-travels to the Emerald Vale Community Center with Parvati and Ellie.
Emerald Vale Region (time 12:12):
The second beacon is a short way northeast of the Abandoned Industrial Zone. It is guarded by Primals near some lava flows. One of the Primals is Gigantes, a named specimen. After eliminating the Primals, the party registers the beacon. This concludes the objective to find the second beacon for "All Halcyon in a Day". The next objective is to find the third beacon, which is on Scylla. At least there is a pretty view of the bay beyond Edgewater here.
The party fast-travels back to the Unreliable.
Unreliable (time 16:18):
Davilas uses the navigation terminal to fly the ship to the Scylla Landing Pad on Scylla. Upon arrival, he fast-travels to the Scylla Landing Pad with Parvati and Ellie.
Scylla (time 18:04):
The party goes west/southwest from the landing pad. The third beacon has been placed just a few steps beyond the atmospheric force field. Davilas will die very quickly beyond. Tactical Time Dilation is helpful. Registering this beacon completes the objective to find the third beacon for "All Halcyon in a Day". The next objective is to find the fourth beacon, which is outside Stellar Bay on Monarch.
The party fast-travels back to the Unreliable.
Unreliable (time 20:54):
Davilas upgrades his gear and checks out the ship again. Then, he uses the navigation terminal to fly the ship to the Stellar Bay Landing Pad on Monarch. Upon arrival, he fast-travels to the UDL Lab in the middle of the Monarch Wilderness with Parvati and Ellie.
Monarch Wilderness (time 27:03):
Just northwest of the UDL Lab, the party descends the slope past the gate. There are Marauders at the base of the slope. Just southwest of the Marauder camp, the beacon is in a nest of Canids.
After clearing out the enemies, the party registers the beacon. This concludes the objective to find the fourth beacon for "All Halcyon in a Day". The next objective is to return to Alonzo in Byzantium.
The party fast-travels back to the Unreliable.
Unreliable (time 31:48):
Davilas uses the navigation terminal to fly the ship to the Byzantium Freight Port Landing Pad on Terra 2. Then, he fast-travels to the Bureau of Exploration with Parvati and Ellie.
