This is video #048 in my gameplay series of The Outer Worlds for the Sony PlayStation 4. This is video 8 covering "Peril on Gorgon". The Outer Worlds is rated M for blood and gore, intense violence, and strong language.

The party is currently working on "Peril on Gorgon", the first DLC expansion. Previously, for the main quest "A Clockwork Mock Apple", the party went to the Auxiliary Maintenance Bay on Groundbreaker and met Dr. Marion Blakeslee, a survivor of Gorgon. She gave them information to get into the Human Inquiry & Auditing facility on Gorgon. This began the "Peril on Gorgon" main quest "We, in Spacer's Choice's Employ...". As the party traveled to their next destination, they were waylaid by the Freebooters on the Invading Ship. For the main quest "Starship Hunters", the party took out most of the mercenaries, negotiated with Coach Stilley, and removed the Tracking Protocol Cartridge. Now, the party will carry out the "Peril on Gorgon" main quest "The Man in High Orbit" and search the Olympus Orbital Pharmaceutical Station for Dr. Jasper Low so they can get into Gorgon's CHEM Lab.

Unreliable:

The party resumes aboard the Unreliable, which has docked with the Olympus Orbital Pharmaceutical Station. Davilas chats with his companions to see if anyone has anything new to say about Gorgon. Felix talks about the Freebooters.

When Davilas is ready to go, he disembarks to the Olympus Orbital Pharmaceutical Station with Parvati and Vicar Max.

Olympus Orbital Pharmaceutical Station (time 4:54):

The party starts on floor 1/3. Entering the station concludes the objective to land at the Olympus Orbital Pharmaceutical Station for "The Man in High Orbit". The next objective is to locate Dr. Jasper Low.

Sadly, the party will find a lot of dead Scientists, starting with one in the reception room. They check out the receptionist's terminal for a series of logs.

At the door to the east, the party uses the Intercom to talk to a woman in the room beyond. With Persuade 70, Lie 105, or Intimidate 105, they can convince her to open the door. They choose the Persuade option. After the door opens, they go in and talk to Receptionist Kelley. They interview her about what happened here. So, Auntie Cleo is just as callous as the other Board companies. Dr. Low may be in his office or in the labs. This updates "The Man in High Orbit". The party agrees to give her a lift to Groundbreaker. She gives them the Cell Stability Mono-Lens.

The ladder in Kelley's closet is a shortcut to the central lab on floor 2/3, but the party will take the long way around.

The western door along the northern wall in the reception room requires Lockpicking 45 or an Olympus Orbital Station Keycard to open. The party lockpicks it open. There is a break room beyond. A console has been moved away from the northern wall, leaving the entrance to a maintenance shaft. The party takes the ladder leading down. A hole in the wall at the base of the ladder leads to a lavatory.

Beyond the lavatory, the party finds a cargo room in the northeast of floor 1/3. There are hostile mechanicals here. A stairway in the south of the room leads back up to the reception room.

The party takes the elevator in the east of the cargo room up to floor 2/3. They arrive in a passage in the northeast. There are more hostile security mechanicals in the north. On the northern platform, there is a security terminal. The party checks the log. Then, with Hack 70, they disable the sentry hostility protocol for the Mechanical Sentry on the command deck. In an area to the west of the terminal, the party can find the Storm Cannon.

The door in the south of the command deck leads to the central lab. The party does not go that way yet.

Upstairs to the west, the party goes south into a storage room adjacent to the lab. The door to the lab requires Lockpicking 105 or an Olympus Orbital Station Keycard. The party lockpicks it open.

However, they continue south through a tunnel to an office. Next to a dead terminal, they find an Olympus Orbital Station Keycard quest item. The party checks the terminal in the back of the room for messages to and from Dr. Low. There is even a draft from Dr. Low that the party can choose to send, but they don't.

The party heads to the central lab, where there are a few more hostile mechanicals to take out. The closet in the northeast is just up the ladder from where Receptionist Kelley was hiding.

There is a terminal in the middle of the central lab with information about the project. With Hack 105, the party disables automechanical hostility protocols on mechs in the central laboratory.

The southern door requires the Turbine Platform Keycard.
