The Outer Worlds [PS4] #045, Gorgon (5): A Dialog Between Dead Men (end); Rendezvous at Llama
1This is video #045 in my gameplay series of The Outer Worlds for the Sony PlayStation 4. This is video 5 covering "Peril on Gorgon". The Outer Worlds is rated M for blood and gore, intense violence, and strong language.

The party is currently working on "Peril on Gorgon", the first DLC expansion. Previously, they infiltrated the Office of Creative Incubation, which had become a sort of Marauder asylum. Within, they found the first of four phonographs for Roscoe's side quest "The Electric Fling". For the main quest "The Ones Who Walk Away From Gorgon", they tried to lift the lockdown on the Synthesis & Manufactory Center. However, this will require authorization from senior staff at the CHEM Lab and Human Inquiry & Auditing. After leaving OCI, they went to Transmission Tower Alpha and looked up the facility staff directory. They learned that Clarence Mostly is now at the Musgrave Collection in Byzantium. This concluded "The Ones Who Walk Away From Gorgon". The party started the second "Peril on Gorgon" main quest, "Mostly Harmless", which will send them to find Mostly in Byzantium. Now, the party will explore more of Gorgon and carry out optional quests.
They will focus particularly on the side quest "A Dialog Between Dead Men". They have already found "The Exhilarating Adventures of Archibald Excelsior, Issue #3" at the HIA Facility Rear Exterior in video #043.
Unreliable:
Davilas resumes aboard the Unreliable. He fast-travels back to the OCI Upper Exterior with Parvati and Nyoka.
Gorgon Canyon (time 1:44):
The party resumes outside the upper entrance to the Office of Creative Incubation. Just to the south, they find the Executive Suites.
On a bench in the courtyard, they find the "Teammate's Letter". The level of Adrena-Time use is, frankly, quite alarming.
In the southeastern ground-floor apartment, the party finds "Diane Schute's Final Report". I gather she was writing about the notorious Marauder, Charles from Accounting.
On the second floor of the eastern apartment building, the party finds the phonograph "An Interview with Dr. Ambrose, Part 2". This concludes the objective to retrieve the phonograph in Birdie's apartment outside OCI for "The Electric Fling".
Just southeast of the Executive Suites, there is an elevator leading to the canyon floor. The party will take it later.
For now, the party takes the path that starts southwest of the Executive Suites. There are shock traps along the path, so care is advisable. The path eventually leads to some Spacer's Choice housing west of the Executive Suites. This must be the Synthesis & Manufactory Observatory. The first dwelling on the left could have been Dr. Ambrose's, as it contains the phonographs "Dr. Ambrose's Diary: Metamorphosis" and "Dr. Ambrose's Diary: Memory". She sounds a lot more troubled than she did in the interviews with Roscoe. They shed a lot of light on things, eh? I wonder what Adelaide would make of this.
Just past the dwellings, the party finds Maurice's Research Site. On a crate, they find "Eustace Kim's Datapad". Eustace is sounding a bit unhinged. They also find "The Exhilarating Adventures of Archibald Excelsior, Issue #1". This gives them the datalog entry "The Exhilarating Adventures of Archibald Excelsior, Ace Exterminator, and the Plague of Manti-Men! Issue #1 of 4". This concludes the objective to find the clue at the Synthesis & Manufactory Observatory for "A Dialog Between Dead Men".
The party also checks out the view from the observatory overlook.
When they have finished at the observatory, they fast-travel to the Sprat Shack Exterior. At the shop in the area, they use the Workbench to modify a couple of Light Assault Rifle Mk 3s that they picked up. One gets Mag-2-Zap, the other Mag-2-Power.
Afterwards, they fast-travel to the OCI Lower Exterior on the canyon floor. They head north/northeast from there.
Before long, the party finds the entrance to the Abandoned Mines. One of Lucky's recordings advised avoiding this place, so the party will explore it, anyway. It is a nest of Frostsaurs and Shiverpillars.
At a dead end in the southeast, the party finds the phonograph "For Benji". Poor Miner.
In the north-central tunnels, the party finds an Automated ATP Injectors mod and the phonograph "Lucky's Notes: Narrow Escape".
Davilas is promoted to Level 34. He allocates his skill points and levels up. He picks up the perk Thick Skin, which reduces his area of effect damage received and plasma damage received by 15%.
