After becoming trapped in the ice you are warned that it will eventually crush the Temperance and that abandoning ship sooner rather than later is ideal. If you continue to stay on the ship then when you call everyone to dinner on Week 7 the ship will flood. If you still decide to remain on the ship then you'll receive this game over (and achievement).
