The Purrfect Farm (WIP Game) by Team Quest - Title Animation
1This is a title animation I made for a Work In Progress game I am assisting with titled "The Purrfect Farm". This is a farm simulation game which you take the role of a Scientist Cat Lady and you grow Cats from Capsules and their colors depend on the plants you grow in your farm.
This animation here starts off with the Cat Lady looking at some of the Capsules watching the Cats hatch and follows them when they do. Other Cats walk through the farm until suddenly a scarecrow rises from the dirt and 3 Cats get scared and run off. All of the previous Cats soon follow to see what's going on and the Cat Lady runs after them. I decided to experiment animating a Parallax Scrolling effect as if a person with is walking through a farm and viewing what they see.
I put this animation together using Game Maker Studio. Some assets used were made by me such as the Title Logo, Cat Lady, Barn, Hills, Dirt, and Windmills. I also did all of the Animation seen here. The Cats, Flowers, Trees, Sun, Fence, and Scarecrow were made by other artists in the team. Voice Clips and Music were made by someone else on the team as well. I may think about expanding this animation in the future as I needed to finish this iteration of it for a deadline for a playtest.
