The Quarry | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
103It's October and that means it is spooky month! There are plenty of horror games to archive, but after archiving Until Dawn I wanted another adventure in a similar fashion. The Quarry is regarded Supermassive's best work after Until Dawn. They also made the Dark Anthology series, but those were all short stories and did not give the characters enough time to breath. In The Quarry it is better, though the cast of characters did not grip me as much as those in Until Dawn. There's a few who are great like Laura, Kaitlyn, Travis and Ryan.
There are some great scares in here and the story takes twists and turns that I definitely did not see coming. There are also more choices that you can make that do alter the way the story unfolds compared to other games of this nature. However, the ending is quite lackluster when it concludes how all the characters faired. I hope someday Supermassive will be able to make a game that surpasses Until Dawn which is currently still their masterpiece.
