At the beginning of this year, I released a video discussing what was happening to Josh Ho-Sang after he had finished the 2019/20 season with the AHL's San Antonio Rampage and he had just been loaned to Sweden for the 20/21 season.
Though his tenure in the SHL wouldn't get off to the greatest start, the forward's subsequent move to Linkoping and the lessons he learned from head coach Johan Akerman changed his outlook on hockey and gave him a new lease of life: which in turn would help him secure him a PTO with the Toronto Maple Leafs and an AHL contract with their minor league affiliate the Toronto Marlies.
Given that his pro career has been a rollercoaster ride up until this point and given that he has bounced back in a big way with the Marlies during the current 21/22 season, I figured that it would be worth taking a closer look at the 25 year old's recent calendar year in order to see how he has produced this resurgence in North America, and how his time in Sweden may have saved his pro career...
