Elemental HERO Rampart Blaster originally had the effect, where while this card was in face of defense position, it could attack your opponents life points directly, however, it would only deal half damage from its attack point value. But, there was a ruling in the OCG that stated that this card could not attack directly unless your opponent had no monsters on their side of the field. So when the card was reprinted in 2011 it received an errata, clarifying this ruling, stating it could only attack directly, if your opponent control no monsters.
