In this short video I show you how to make your graphics card recognized by the game in the more correct way. Example for NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti.

P.S. I also recommend to force V-Sync with Triple buffering and Anisotropic filtering 16x via NVIDIA/RADEON control panel for this game. (TS3W.exe)

Also this method may work for The Sims 4 game too but we don't need to edit a second file: GraphicsRules.sgr for the Sims 4 game because the game will identify.. by the graphical driver.
