Hello and welcome to BakieGaming.
A long time ago I promised to make a tutorial about making a Custom Catalog Thumbnail and Custom Catalog Thumbnail Overlay as that's something I didn't explain in all my other tutorials.
I only said " I've added a custom catalog thumbnail ", but didn't explained how I made it or how to add it. So from now on I can send everybody who wonders how I make them to this video instead.
In short, a custom catalog thumbnail is a thumbnail with an extra text or image added to the thumbnail.
A custom catalog thumbnail overlay is a text or image that can be added easily in just 3 mouse clicks to ALL recolors of one object.
In this tutorial I will start by showing you the difference between these two in game and after that show you how to make them using photoshop to end with how to add them to your object in Studio.
Besides that I made this tutorial easy to follow by explaining every single step, I also show you how it will eventually look in game.
You will need the following programs to follow this tutorial
• The Sims 4 Base Game
• The Sims 4 Studio. Best thing to do is download the latest stable / community tested version although for making this kind of mod, the BETA will work too.

• 2D Editor like Photoshop or Gimp, in this tutorial I will be using Photoshop.
