The Snowman (1982)
I thought I'd share this delightful and gorgeous piece of animation as this year's Christmas piece. Based on the picture book by Raymond Briggs, this tells the tale of a little boy who befriends the snowman he created, who magically comes to life. The piece is wordless, backed by a wonderful symphonic score, and the animation is very reminiscent, I feel, of the 1971 Richard Williams adaptation of "A Christmas Carol".
I hope you all enjoy, and a very Merry Christmas to you!
