The Starborn Have Arrived – Creeper World IXE Just Got Weirder
In this Creeper World IXE custom map, we get dropped into a scenario unlike any other — no anti-creeper tech, no traditional reactors, and an entirely new race to figure out. The Starborn rely on water extraction and solar panels to power their fleet, using artificial stars as energy cores. That sounds impressive until your solar panels start falling out of trees and rolling down cliffs.
The custom ships bring unique mechanics to the battlefield. From cryo cannons to multi-rocket gunships, each ship has a distinct feel, but it’s not always clear how or why they work. Managing power and movement becomes a guessing game — made worse when your main ship, the Phoenix, explodes because you got too confident.
Resource gathering is critical in this mission, with a goal of harvesting 5,000 units of water while under light creeper pressure. Getting to that water involves digging, shielding, and slowly learning what each of your goofy ships can actually do. Most of them shoot. Some of them dig. All of them take up way too much horizontal space.
If you’re into Creeper World IXE mods and custom race mechanics, this one’s worth checking out. It’s a weird, experimental map that flips expectations and forces you to rethink how power, progression, and positioning work. The creeper doesn’t stand much of a chance, but the real challenge is managing the chaos you build along the way.
