In the not-too-distant future, Mankind’s overconsumption planet’s natural resources has Earth in shambles. The global economy has suffered to a point where unemployment rates have skyrocketed and social programs are simply overwhelmed. With no jobs and a dying planet, it’s up to a supremely rich and profitable corporation that definitely doesn’t have an ulterior motive to save humanity!

Creo, the world’s largest producer of consumer and industrial products, conveniently unveils “Project Resolve” to the world. It’s goal is simple—to restore the ozone layer with compounds released from strategic satellite launches across the globe which in turn will create thousands of jobs for the unemployed. To sweeten the deal, Creo offers its employees the chance to better themselves. But instead of retirement portfolios or healthcare benefits that actually include dental, Creo gives us what we really want: Robot Exoskeletons.

Equipping all their new employees with ExoRigs, Creo sets to work on its plan to help undo the damage to Mother Earth. It’s newest sucker, Warren, has something go mysteriously awry during his outfitting. He awakens in the ruins of the complex, surrounded by the crazed, berserker shells of his robotically enhanced coworkers. Armed with only superhuman strength and an array of weapon blueprints picked off of his fallen foes, Warren is ready to dismember his ex-work buddies in what is totally not a sci-fi interpretation of Dark Souls.
