In the summer of 1956, a man known only as Benedict, began a journey to the town of Weeks—a forgotten ghost town with 364 open missing persons cases. Curiosity abound, Benedict dug into the history of the town in a neighboring library.
It seemed as though a once thriving and industrious region was upturned overnight, into the ghost town it is today. At the center of it all was the Macmillan Estate, a large industrial park with a mine and foundry… and Benedict just couldn’t resist a little adventure.
Instead, Benedict wakes up beside a campfire unsure of how or when he got there. He soon discovers he is in the realm of The Entity, a supernatural being from something spooky called ancient blood web. It has pulled seven of the most evil killers on Earth out of reality and the 1978 horror movie, Halloween* (because why not?) and convinced them to hunt unsuspecting survivors, who, like Benedict, have been pulled into the Entity's constructed world. They all have a singular purpose -- to hang their victims on conveniently placed meathooks so that The Entity can tear their souls out and literally feed on their hope.
But Death is not an escape. Survivors continuously find themselves back at the same campfire, even if they escape! As Benedict notes, they’re just pawns in a parasitic charade.
