The Tale of Despereaux Gameplay Chapter 13 - Embattled Knight
A game based on 2008 movie The Tale of Despereaux developed by Brash Entertainment and published by Sensory Sweep Studios.
As soon as Despereaux meets his mom, Antoinette, he told her about the princess in danger and that he needs to go to the dungeon to save her. Antoinette tells him that only a human can help her son. "Go to the bell tower and ring as loud as you can and hope to wake up some humans to help," she said and so...Despereaux rings the bell as loud as he can. The sound echoes from the Mouse Town into the castle (The chef was thinking about soup at that time). When Boldo appears, the chef finally decides to make the banned soup once again and the smell of soup reaches Despereaux who was in Mouse Town. With nowhere else to turn to for help, Despereaux goes to the kitchen and sees Boldo much to his shock and wonder. "What are you?" the one question Despereaux can only ask. "The name's Boldo, I am the essence of soup," that's what the being made of food said. When Boldo asks who Despereaux is, he asks Boldo for help. "Help me! The princess is in danger!" Despereaux asked him for help. Boldo gladly helps and both of them charge into the dungeon which attracts the attention of rats due to Boldo's appearance as walking vegetables. With the rats swarming on Boldo, Despereaux hangs onto Boldo as he rolls down to the dungeon (Despereaux was safe but not Boldo as he can no longer go with his feet missing from the rats' action).
It's exactly like the title said...it's going to be one hell of a journey for Despereaux in order to save Princess Pea. With the difficulty raised to Normal or Hard, I have no other choice but to keep going as I can't beat the rats in front of Boldo this time (Their attacking speed and number outmatch Despereaux a lot when I tried to fight them). It wasn't an easy task, to be honest, but once I'm used to the difficulty, beating these rats again in a later chapter becomes easier than before. Here goes nothing! Charge!
