Bethesda takes "Open door, die" to a whole new level today. Population density increases dramatically today, with swarms of robots around nearly every corner. We're reaching the heart of Skynet, hopefully to shut it down for good, and she's fighting back for all she's worth. Unfortunately, that means areas with unavoidable damage. Enemies that teleport in right in front of you ready to fight, places requiring the player to jump down that will do falling damage etc. I had to backtrack on one level to find a health and armor cache just to be able to finish it. And that was the easier of the levels. Enter a pair of vehicle levels, one fortunately in the H/K that wasn't too hard, but a new jeep level that could be used as a template for what *NOT* to do to a player. Unavoidable damage in a vehicle that you cannot repair. There is a very finite hit point pool, and the game spawns in enemies directly in front of you that can do massive damage that you simply cannot answer. In the end, much like an earlier H/K level, I had to save walk the last bits. I am not happy about it, but it's done.
