Here we are with a bit of video game history. The first "true 3D" First Person Shooter, with a fully 3-D level-on-level capable environment, 3D rendered enemies, etc. Quake? No no, that game was released later. Descent? While that game was released earlier, the way the maps were done supposedly didn't offer "true" 3D. Something about connected blocks. It also featured one of if not the first use of "mouse look" as we now it today. Other notable features include drivable vehicles in an FPS - though we saw those even earlier with CyberMage.

It's a DOS game, with the problems that causes. There's no 3D acceleration, and there's a lot of artifacts of early 3D games, including getting stuck on geometry and lots and LOTS of visible seams that don't line up right. Some hall of mirroring, etc... But that's all tech issues. How's the gameplay? So far, mostly solid. There's some issues, such as very inconsistent damage.

Come join us in the far off post-apocalyptic future year of.... 2015. Ahem, well, it USED to be the future. We get to see a scarless John Connor as we join the Resistance and help mankind fight off the hoards of machines created by Skynet to wipe us all out! Complete with story driven cut scenes between levels - kinda. Mostly just dialog. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
