The official Tonyhax International Downloader, created solely by me!
Includes the Tonyhax save file for your PS1 Memory Card, as well as the save game exploits supported by it! However, due to the limit of only allowing to have up to 30 saves, the downloader had to be split between the two regions: PAL and NTSC. It supports multiple languages, a cut feature from the regular single-language downloaders featured on some of the Euro Demos created by SCEE's Special Projects division.
I created the downloader using some of the leaked assets I took from Euro Demo 12/99 and also downloaded the compiler needed to put everything together. It is the POCKET.DAT Compiler created by the one and only krHACKen. I basically took and dumped the contents of the Bonus Cheat CD that came exclusively with the early French release of Gran Turismo 2 and replaced the POCKET.DAT contained on it, and removed the LEMONGT2.DAT save file in favor for the Tonyhax saves I put onto it. I used the tool mkpsxiso to put it all together and make it run on both real hardware and emulation.
I will be sharing it with the creator of the Tonyhax International fork, Alex-Free, in which I need to get in touch with him and tell him about the on-disc downloader that I made for people who don't have a PS2 and don't have FreeMCBoot to transfer the Tonyhax file and the save game exploits onto their Memory Cards.
Recorded with Duckstation this time. I'll be recording the NTSC Edition from my PS2 using POPStarter and flash the VMCs with the save files I downloaded from it onto them, onto physical Memory Cards.
