A look at the hidden shadow.exe demo that is included on a demo disc simply titled "Demo Disc" with the serial SCED-02417. It can be booted on real hardware with the use of Unirom. This also acts as a showcase of an interesting feature that Unirom has: Loading EXEs. This means, you can load in an EXE file directly from the disc and you can run it. You can launch playable demos of various games on those demo discs by simply loading in those EXEs and play them that way, without having to load up the interface just to select it. Granted, it doesn't always work with everything, but it is still a very cool feature that Unirom has.

When it comes to the shadow.exe demo, before Unirom existed, you had to modify the DD\MAIN.EXE file to change the string of one of the EXEs that links to the shadow.exe. That way, it worked.

As for the demo itself, it's basically what it says. It showcases two triangular shapes, one that casts light, and the other casts shadow. The L1 and R1 buttons cycle between the two shapes that move and stop, the L2 and R2 buttons rotate the cube the shapes find themselves in, with the face buttons doing more rotations. The Select button simply goes back to the interface, but since the application was launched directly from Unirom and when pressing the button, it simply hangs up.
