Using a PS2 to transfer OPM PS1 Download Save Data to a real Memory Card
What you need is FreeMCBoot with POPStarter and the neccessary files needed to run and one of the OPM demo discs with Downloader Utility with Save files included, which you put onto your USB thumbdrive from which you run one of them. The Save files will be downloaded onto the first of the two Virtual Memory Cards which POPStarter creates with each game when you launch one. The SLOT0.VMC file on which you downloaded the OPM Download Saves onto can be flashed onto a real PS1 Memory Card using the Memory Card Annihilator. You can also use one of those MCPro cards and load up a Virtual Memory Card created for a particular OPM demo disc, that you can flash onto.
Some of the UK/European OPM Demo Discs have save files for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and 3, as well as for Tenchu 2, which only work with the English PAL versions of the games (Not quite sure if you can just modify the headers so that they work with the French and German PAL and North American versions as well. I'll have to test that.). They are related to user-created Skate Parks and Levels that I would be showing off one day.
