Randomly decided to start playing through Ultimate Doom, which I haven't done in quite some time. In fact, I am unsure if I ever finished the fourth chapter..

I'm using Chocolate Doom to recreate the original feel of the game, and no I won't change my mind about it.

I don't claim to be a pro at the game, and nor do I intend to impose any sort of challenges on myself... other than playing on Ultra-Violence. For 'for fun' runs in the past, I always played on Hurt Me Plenty. UV was reserved for games started that I intended to eventually finish (whether or not that happened is another story).

I'm also a bit rusty as I haven't played an FPS in general in a long time, but I think I'll manage just fine. Besides.. I should get better as I go along, right?

This... this really shows my lack of memory with these stages. I remember small bits and pieces, but they aren't even important pieces. So yea, prepare yourself for extended aimless wandering.

There is also a spot or two where I saved and tried something that failed. I kept those sections in without a gag because that was the whole reason for the save in the first place. Plus, somewhere close to the end I just gave up exploring and decided to end the stage. I knew it was already well over a half hour, which is my self-imposed time limit, and I didn't want boring sections with nothing but wandering around. At least my wandering here was met with enemies and action most times.
