Armed only with the knowledge of two seasons of the TV show and having skimmed some of the comics, I dive head-first and spoiler-free into Telltale's critically acclaimed adventure game based on The Walking Dead.

It's the morning after the End of the World and we wake up at Herschel's farm, eager and ready to pitch-in with some chores and help fortify the place. We soon learn that eagerness and readiness are no substitute for actually paying any bloody attention to your surroundings. Still, aside from a loud child with a stupid name all is calm and peaceful with nary a zombie to be seen. What could possibly go wrong?

Fun fact: The Herschel in the game and Herschel in season 2 of the series are actually the same character, something I failed to realise until after I'd finished recording. In my defence the Herschel on the TV show looks nothing like Bill from Left 4 Dead.
