1The Warriors, a gang from Coney Island, go to a gang leader's meeting, when suddenly the gang leader is shot and killed. Framed for this murder, they must travel all the way back to Coney with 60,000 gang members standing in their way.

-To the creation of the game, Sam Houser and Dan Houser both love The Warriors movie when both were kids.
-Numerous actors from the film returned to reprise the voices of their respective characters: James Remar (Ajax), Michael Beck (Swan), Deborah Van Valkenburgh (Mercy), David Harris (Cochise), Thomas G. Waites (Fox) and Dorsey Wright (Cleon).
-There was supposed to be a spiritual sequel to the game titled "We Are the Mods", taking place during the mods and rockers brawls in 1960's England. The game was cancelled.
-Roger Hill (who played Cyrus in the film) sued the game programmers for using his likeness without permission. He passed away within a decade after the game's release.

-Originally in the game, you could travel by train and explore the different cities of New York, however they could not implement it in the game.
-To make the environment of the streets more real, the developers managed to decorate the walls with graffiti from real artists such as Iz the Wiz and Seen, who were at that time when graffiti was beginning to become popular.
-New bands appear that did not appear in the movie (such as the Destroyers or Satan's Mothers). In addition, those that already appeared in the film but had little or no participation in the plot, in the game are more important (such as the Panzers or the Boppers). Finally, it should be noted that the Warriors face more bands during the course of the video game than in the movie (in which they only stuck with 3).

-for the PS4 version of the game, it doesn't include the song "In the City" from Joe Walsh (due copyright) so instead it was replaced with the song Last an ancient breed.
-In this game you can play New Game+ (a new mode for players where they repeat their skills that they did in the previous game for a new game) and to play it you need to complete the main missions of the game (including all the missions outside the shelter ) if you manage to do this then go to the shelter and give repeat missions (the game map that is on the wall) choose any level and ready you will have the opportunity to repeat the missions of the game and with the skills you obtained.
-Thomas G. Waites (Fox) abandoned the recording of the film due to disagreement with the script and demanded that his name be removed from the credits, but against all odds he had no problem ceding his image and voice to the video game version.
-Although the plot remains the same, some parts of the film were changed by adding enemies or situations to make the game more fun.
