Some of the weirdest things to happen in comics. Superman turned Lois Lane black. I’m not even kidding. So this takes place in the 70s and Yeah the 70s were wild. So Lois is assigned to write a story about the “Little Africa'' district in Metropolis. So She tells Clark about the assignment, and he, not fully trusting Metropolis’ black community, decides to change into Superman to keep an eye on her. And when Lois gets to interview an old blind woman the moment Lois speaks the blind woman decides to not do the interview because she can sense that the reporter is white just from her voice. So to solve the problem she does the only logical thing to do in this situation. She asks superman to turn her black and superman does the only logical thing to do in this situation he takes her to his lair where he has a machine that turns people black btw we are never told why he has this machine he just does. Then Lois as a black woman then gets disrespected and almost killed because it’s the 70s and she’s black and at the end reveals she was white to the black side character and he’s just like cool.
