With patch 1.03, Xbox One loses its unlocked, variable frame-rate and adopts the same locked 30fps target as its PS4 sibling. PS4 sees frame-time improvements - less stutter during gameplay - but still retains its less pleasant drops to 20fps.

Head-to-head, in its latest state, The Witcher 3 has higher precision visuals on PS4 thanks to its locked 1080p resolution, while the Xbox One version (still mostly in the 900p territory, despite the dynamic resolution scaler) clearly has the most consistent level of performance.
