These are the endings of the Witcher´s community made episode Wraiths of Quiet Hamlet. You either find the reason the wraiths are angry (and revenge them) or you just get rid of their source. The most positive ending requires you to find the reason and finish three side quests (successfully date Vesna - earns you Vesna's sex card, gather berries for the ink keeper and gather echinopses' roots for the priestess).
Edit: to get the bad ending, talk to Kaligor, when the main quest says: "I have to choose whether to take the task or try to soften wraith's wrath", which means you take the task. The rather good ending requires you to speak to the priestess at the same point while having missed one of the mentioned side quests.
To advance the story just follow the quests journal - talk to the fisherman, the priestess, the village leader ask them about wraiths, strange things and Kaligor and again follow whatever the quest points you to. Ask ill gramps about the wraiths too, he'll want something you'll get from the shepherd, if you help him. All of this will lead you to the point of the decision making :)
