This is me playing the Timed Challenge for The Witness on Steam.
Here, you'll attempt to complete a series of randomly generated puzzles while the music is playing. Which lasts for six and a half minutes. When the music stops, the challenge is over. Also, if at any point you pause the game, the challenge is forfeit.
The key to beating this challenge is to have a clear understanding of the rules of each puzzle. But what makes this difficult is the randomness of the puzzles that the game gives you. These range from being solved in a matter of seconds, to ones that'll leave you stumped for so long you'll end up losing the challenge altogether.
If at any point you get a puzzle wrong, it'll reset, and you'll have to go back and resolve the previous one to generate a new puzzle.
