To atone for his sins, former marine, Ray Liotta, is shipped off to a remote penal colony situated on a hostile island populated by savages. He killed his commanding officer you see. Because he ordered Ray to slaughter a village of innocent civilians. Which isn't very fair if you ask me - they were only extras trying to earn a crust like the rest of us. It's not really Ray's fault, he's a Goodfella at heart.

Anyway, down under in Ozland, Ray finds a Super Nintendo Entertainment System in a mud pit, invents electricity and is entranced by playing the game of his own life, starring himself, except with a different name. John Robbins. Oh, it all gets mixed up in my mind. You'll have to watch the movie yourself. Not the 2015 one starring Owen Wilson, Lake Bell and Pierce Brosnan. This was released in 1994.
