80Kiryu crashed in to the puddle, sending water flying as he was knocked back the blow. His brother, Nishiki, lay next to him with in an inch of conciousness. Kiryu had never been beaten like this. The rainfall masked his tears as he looked up at his superior. The Captain of the Dojima family and Patriarch to the Kazama family towered over the two youths bearing an unshakable look of resolve. Kiryu couldn't take the pain of admiring yet hating him at that moment.
"Who are you to tell us what we can't do?!"
Kiryu protested by slamming his fist in to the floor, further scattering water across the arena.
"You're no better! You're a Yakuza yourself! All my life I've looked up to you! Your cars, your clothes, the people who respected you... I wanted that life too!"
Kazama's face twitched with his son's every sentence and slowly, his resolve began to soften. Still he said nothing.
