This Cool Aerial Bot Was Cut from Transformers 3. During the beginning of the live action Transformers films, we got a slew of classical characters. Who were given a modern facelift to make them look like they could fit in the real world. And see a fair number of aerial bots take to the skies to gain an advantage on their enemies. But most of them were on the Decepticon teams. While Jetfire would ultimately join the Autobots. He did so at the very end of Revenge of the Fallen. And some would argue that Optimus Prime became an aerial bot. But that was basically through a power-up. He wasnโt a true aerial bot. However, there was going to be an original Aerial Autobot in Dark of the Moon. Which was none other than Silverbolt. A character who was originally going to be voiced by the late James Avery. Which was confirmed when he responded to a false rumor of him passing at the time. Funny enough, you could spot a jet with the Autobot logo in the background of the film. But the character was cut. And was only playable in the tie-in game.
