6Hey everyone, and welcome to Before Sleep. Before I get into my review, something funny I'd like to mention. In the beginning of the video, I mention that itch.io hasn't updated their playlists in about a month. And literally as soon as I finished editting, they updated their playlists. Anyways, onto the review.
Before Sleep is a game of cat and mouse, where the player must find 10 objects and 10 notes to unlock the hidden exit door. As you explore the tight hallways and darkened rooms, you are pursued by a mysterious creature that wants nothing more than to bash your head in. There is no time to waste, as he will never stop running to you.

Though the game lacks story, and the concept is quite simple, I found this game very entertaining. Having to remember each hallways and each room, and where and when the objects appear is a challenge on it's own. But the developer also has you frantically try to find the items quickly, as the creature is always on your tail. It goes without saying that this game is challenging, and unless you are the dev, you will probably have multiple playthroughs to complete it.
