Hey everyone and welcome to Forgotten Fields. In this game, you play as Sid, an author who has been having trouble writing his latest novel. One day, he gets informed that his home that he grew up in is being sold, and that he's invited to a farewell party. Reluctant to go, he is forced by the people that care about him. Little does Sid know that the experience he's about to take will be just the inspiration he needs.

When I saw this game featured on the front page of itch.io, I was compelled to try it out. I was drawn in by the warm atmosphere and the central theme. The central theme is nostalgia, which is what the protagonist, Sid, is trying to rediscover for his novel. Seeing how his mind processes ideas is very unique and interesting. The game in a way has you play as the person who is having these ideas. This demo is all that is needed to show the player that the full game will be something extraordinary. Well done, dev!
