This Detail Makes The Fallen Look More Evil in Transformers 2. The character of Megatronus is arguably 1 of the most complex we’ve seen in Transformers. Some would argue that he was the main reason the Primes fell from grace. That’s definitely the reason you don’t see them around in the Bay films. And its how he got his moniker, The Fallen. He believed himself to be a god and wanted to seize total domination across the galaxy. However, he’d be stopped by Prima Prime and trapped into a sarcophagus. By the time he escaped his power was completely drained leaving him bound to a life support chair. And he wouldn’t leave it until he saw the end of his ultimate threat, Optimus Prime. But the movie didn’t necessarily disclose how he was recovering using his chair. It was established that they were out of Energon due to the cube’s destruction. Which is why the Decepticon Hatchlings kept dying. But what they didn’t mention is that the remaining life force of those babies went to The Fallen. Which makes him look even more evil than he already was.
