When the first movie was revealed Paramount and Hasbro went on an advertising rampage. Releasing a slew of action-packed trailers and commercials to remind you that the Autobots were on their way to the big screen. And they would continue this media blitz for the sequels. Something you may not notice is that certain action sequences were reworked and repurposed for certain promotions. Such as the M&M’s commercial that shows Optimus throws a trailer which was re-worked from the Revenge of the Fallen fight where he picks up a tree. Or the Burger king commercial featuring a fight between Optimus & Shockwave. Which was actually the fight between he & Sentinel in Dark of the Moon. But 1 of the of the more subtle re-usages of a movie sequence would have to be Transformers the 3D Ride. Where you see the character Evak hop over the fence just like Bee did in Dark of the Moon. Imitation is the biggest form of flattery.
