Optimus Could’ve Easily saved Jazz With This! During the big battle of Mission City we witnessed Optimus Prime decapitating Bonecrusher. And we saw the unfortunate end of the Autobot Lieutenant Jazz where Megatron ripped him in 2. And he was confirmed dead when Ironhide somberly handed Optimus Jazz's remains as he reported that they could not save their comrade. And we would never see him again in later sequels. But something that always boggled my mind was the fact that the Autobots could’ve brought him back to life. Because it was established in Transformers 2 that even though the shell of the Allspark was destroyed its power remained and could be converted into another vessel. Not to mention that a small fragment of the cube still possessed incredible power. And we would see used to revive Megatron. However, it wasn’t done for Jazz. Optimus Prime’s biggest mistake is that he destroyed a piece of the fragment. Had he known that it still possessed energon he could’ve used it to revive his fallen comrade.
