This is a VRChat Public Safety Complaint
0This video complaint is aimed at VRChat's efforts to ensure public safety on the grounds of the following:
1: Child endangerment.
2: Failure to enforce minimum age requirements.
3: Endangering users with mental illnesses, disabilities, and neurological conditions such as epilepsy.
4: Failure to protect its users from rampant software vandalism and malicious avatar use (crashing, RAM flooding, sensory assault (mainly visual and auditory).
5: Failure to curb rampant hate raids into public lobbies and mass user harassment.
6: Failure to establish adequate systems to report behavior and users that violate platform rules.
7: Negligent endangerment of content creators through "TOS-Baiting" (stemming from #4 and #5), a practice where malicious users invade a content creator's live environment to broadcast media, purposely designed and intended to violate streaming platform guidelines (ex. racial slurs) and endanger the streamer's account and/or career by forcing them to remove the offending media.
8: Creating a hostile environment that causes users to unfairly disparage minors because of their age. In particular this behavior is perpetuated by adults at minors between the ages of 13-17 due to socially-driven fear of being pinned as a child sex offender merely by being in close contact to a user within that age range. (It is also harmful to minors due to the created expectation that they are hated by adults because of their age and expect to be shamed, condemned, and discriminated against in environments that are NOT 18+)
