This Looks SCARILY REAL in VR! // The Ultimate VR Zombie Game? (Unreal Engine VR)
1,385This game has some of the most REALISTIC VR graphics I've ever seen, some of these locations look like photographs of the real world... except they're filled with blood soaked ZOMBIES because this is Dead Island 2 VR! Dead Island 2 is one of the best looking VR games you can play right now with UEVR and it wasn't even built with Unreal Engine 5, somehow the developers at Dambuster Studios managed to get the game looking like real life with Unreal Engine 4 and when you add VR to the mix it feels scarily realistic. This Dead Island 2 VR mod won't be for everyone, sadly the current version of Dead Island 2 VR doesn't have full motion controls and the few attempts I've seen to get them working haven't been particularly smooth. However the gorgeous environments, terrifying zombies and outrageous gore all look SO MUCH BETTER in VR, if you can get the game performing smoothly (and using the tools below should help with that) I'd say this is a VR experience that everyone should try. Fingers crossed someone makes a full Dead Island 2 VR mod at some point (or we get a native VR version) with motion controls and physical swinging for attacks but for now this blood soaked VR adventure will definitely keep me entertained as it is.

This Dead Island 2 VR Gameplay / Dead Island 2 VR Mod (UEVR) was captured on a 4090 VR ready PC running in VR thanks to the UEVR mod on a Quest 3 with a wired connection. To get Dead Island 2 VR working like this you'll need to download everything above and then play with your own graphics settings to achieve the best VR results for your system, for reference I have a pretty high end PC and I was running almost everything on medium or low (and the game STILL has some of the most realistic VR visuals I've ever seen!)
