This Stigma NEEDS to be Broken
7Stigma is defined as: a mark of disgrace associated with a particular circumstance, quality, or person. In this case, there are many stigmas that exist in the military and the perception of what it means to be a service member. Life is challenging and can be hard. When we place all of these extra pressures on ourselves, it only adds to the difficulty. This stigma within the military ranks needs to be broken.
