This VR Aliens Game Just Got BETTER on Quest 3! // Alien Rogue Incursion Quest 3 Update Gameplay
440Alien Rogue Incursion just got it's first major update on the Quest 3 and already some of my biggest complaints from the launch version of the game have been addressed! At launch Alien Rogue Incursion was ugly on the Quest 3, it was covered in a blue hue/fog and the environments were pixelated and low resolution, meaning the game lost a lot of the impact that the PSVR2 and PCVR versions managed to achieve in terms of atmosphere and tone. The first major update for Quest 3 addresses some of these issues and makes the game much more atmospheric, mainly by removing much of the blue tone that the game had previously and plunging players into a darker more oppressive setting. Performance has also been improved, chances of the game dropping frames during combat/high intensity sections has been decreased, blood details have been added to the environment and xenomorphs (including little blood splatters that appear on your vision occasionally) and a host of small AI tweaks have also been deployed. It's great to see Survios taking the necessary steps to ensure the Quest 3 version of Alien Rogue Incursion is as good as it can be and as close to the PSVR2 and PC versions as possible. I'd still love to see some dynamic shadows...
This Alien Rogue Incursion Quest 3 gameplay / Alien Rogue Incursion Quest 3 review was captured natively on a Quest 3 and it represents the newest build of the game after the first big post launch patch. Alien Rogue Incursion is out for PCVR, PSVR2 and Quest 3, if you have access to a PC or PSVR2 then that's where I would recommend you play this game but the Quest 3 version is looking much better after this new update.
