Three conducting shells \( A, B \) and \( C \) of radii \( a, b \) and \( c \) are as shown. This assembly can be asked as a capacitor by earthing any of the shells \( A, B \) or \( C \). Suppose, a source of emf is connected between shells \( A \) and \( C \) so that shell A acquires a charge \( q \) and shell \( C \) has a charge \( -q \).
\( \mathrm{P} \)
Potential of shell \( A \) is
(a) \( \frac{q}{4 \pi \varepsilon_{0} a} \)
(b) \( \frac{q}{4 \pi \varepsilon_{0} c} \)
(c) \( \frac{q}{4 \pi \varepsilon_{0}}\left(\frac{1}{c}-\frac{1}{a}\right) \)
(d) \( \frac{q}{4 \pi \varepsilon_{0}}\left(\frac{1}{a}-\frac{1}{c}\right) \)
