Three More Non-Konami Games to Feature the Konami Code - Retrogaming Easter Eggs
986The Konami Code has been an iconic piece of video game culture for so long that even back in the '90s, OTHER COMPANIES were inserting the Konami Code into their games.
For example, in Final Fight 2 on SNES - a Capcom game - a variation of the Konami Code is used on the title screen. Pressing Down, Down, Up, Up, Right, Left, Right, Left, L, R will turn the title screen blue, and now both players can select the same character in a 2- Player game!
In Mortal Kombat 3 for SNES, pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, A, B, A on the menu screen will unlock the "Kool Stuff" option. This secret menu has numerous different features including a space shooter mini game that two players can play. You can also see the game's credits and other stuff.
In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for the Game Boy Advance, hold R on the main menu and enter the Konami Code: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, then hit Start. If you did it right, the menu wheel will spin and now you can play as Spider Man! You can also enter this code during the pause menu in normal gameplay.
