Three Secrets in Rock n' Roll Racing - Retrogaming Easter Eggs #shorts
975I've been playing a lot of Rock n' Roll Racing for the SNES lately, and I can't recommend this game enough. It's a trip every time. In this video, I showcase three different secrets (I consider them Easter Eggs even if one of them might be more like a cheat code).
Firstly, you can select Olaf as a playable character. Olaf appears in The Lost Vikings, a Super Nintendo game made by Silicon & Synapse. Silicon & Synapse not only produced Rock n' Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings, but they eventually became Blizzard Entertainment. Anyway, to play as Olaf, go to the character select screen and hold L, R, Select. While holding these buttons, scroll through the characters until you find Olaf. He's the only character in the game with three specialty traits. So like, he's the best character.
Secondly, if you're playing in Vs, Mode, you can select the planet Inferno using the same method. Hold L, R, and Select, then scroll through the planets until you find Inferno. This planet is normally unavailable in Vs. Mode, and it's probably the funnest planet to race on because of the backwards warp arrows.
Lastly, if you go to the options menu and turn Larry (the game's announcer) OFF, then hold Y button to turn him back on, you can then listen to all of his sounds by scrolling with L and R buttons. Kind of like a hidden sound test for Larry's voices.
