Through The Red Forest [S.T.A.L.K.E.R. G.A.M.M.A.]
29After having spent some time making money and gearing up in the safer Southern Zone, Illya Fresh is feeling ready to travel to the more dangerous Northern Zone. To get there, we'll need to head through the Red Forest, which is a notoriously deadly stretch of forest. It's saturated with radiation, crawling with mutants, and infested with groups of Monolith stalkers that really don't want to let anyone pass through unmolested. However, before we make the trip, we help out Gatekeeper at the Barrier to fend off a small Monolith incursion into the Army Warehouses. The Freedom folks turn out not to need much help, and after digging through all the bodies for goodies we enter the forest. It's not long before we're getting torn up by mutants and lit up by Monolith AP rounds. After heading East to locate some documents for the egg heads, I need to push North through the second Monolith outpost in the area. On the way there however I poke my head into an old mine shaft and encounter Sin, a faction I'd never run into directly before. Finally, after many hardships we reach Jupiter, where we just need to head over to the shared stalker base at Yanov Station.
