Thunder Force AC Full Soundtrack OST
46This is the full soundtrack for Thunder Force AC. These tracks were taken from Thunder Force Gold Pack II, which was released on the SEGA Saturn in 1996. The original game was released in 1990 on the arcade, and is a slightly modified version of Thunder Force III.
Some of the main differences between the soundtracks is that stages 4 and 5 are completely different, with stage 4 being a brand new track (later used as a bonus track in Thunder Force IV) and the stage 4 boss uses the stage 5 boss theme from Thunder Force III. Stage 5 and the stage 5 boss are both tracks from Thunder Force II. Overall the instruments are a little different as well.
The way these soundtracks were stored on the disk was that the "intro" part was a separate track and the "loop" part was separate as well. I've just combined them together and looped then properly, which was pretty seamless in game with the only exception being stage 7, which was a little weird so I cleaned it up. They sound like they would have been recorded from a real arcade machine.
