Time-lapse: Corsair Crystal 280x Computer Case Upgrade
I have been trying to get my hands on one of these cases for quite a while now. The corsair Crystal 280x caught my eye a long time ago with it's almost box like look it stood out from all the other standard looking cases. The greatest thing about this case is the fact that you can hide virtually all the boring looking parts of the PC away in the back section of the case making the build look great through the toughened glass side panel.
It's a nice spacious case so it's very easy to get all the parts in with plenty of room to spare. I managed to get 4 hard drives, the corsair commander module, power supply and all the wiring hidden away nicely with more than enough room left for more. Getting all the parts in the case isn't the difficult part though as running all the wiring for the fans drives and RGB took forever. But the case has plenty of openings and anchor points inside to route all the wiring effectively.
The power supply was also replaced with a Corsair RM850 as my older one was beginning to struggle. The RM850 is a modular PSU meaning you will only have to plug in the cable modules you need for drives, motherboard, power etc. This helps save even more space in the case for airflow as you don't have all the extra unneeded cables taking up space.
